Progress continues on the Rainbow Gardens at Leg Up Farm. We are now working on the country's largest therapeutic koi pond as well as the outdoor music garden and games area. Splash Supply Company has designed and constructed an amazing pond and on July 10th, the liner was pulled into place. You can watch some of the video from Fox 43 here.
Our pond will hold approximately 450,000 gallons of water and is designed to capture, clean, and reuse rainwater from the roof of our facility. Families will be able to hand feed and interact with the 500 fish in the pond and enjoy the beautiful view. Our music garden
will provide great opporunities for the kids to play outside and enjoy nature. We anticipate being done by the middle of September.

Many of you have been wondering about the status of the Rainbow Gardens here at Leg Up Farm. I am proud to tell you that we received approval from the township and we are ready to begin construction.
Over the next few months, the grounds of Leg Up Farm will be transformed as we add a Music Garden, Games Garden, and a large Koi pond. We are very excited to add these elements to our facility so the children, families, volunteers, and staff can make use of them.
The music garden will feature a variety of instruments for the kids to play. The games garden will feature a basketball hoop, foursquare & hopscotch, and a putting green. The koi pond will be a zero entry pond making fully accessible to everyone. The kids will be able to feed the koi and enjoy the sounds of the water feature.
We are always looking for more ways to engage the kids, provide stimulating environments, and provide better outcomes.
