2012 Summer Camp

Leg Up Farm is offering several weeks of day camp over the summer, beginning in June, 2012. Please review the information below and register your child for the week(s) they wish to attend. Registration is easy! Simply complete and return the bottom portion of this form to Leg Up Farm. Space is limited. In order to ensure an opening has been reserved for your child, a non-refundable $100 deposit is required at registration. This can be paid by cash, check or credit card. The balance is then due by April 30, 2012.

For non-client campers, an intake must be completed upon registration. Please understand we require a nurse, aide, personal care assistant, or therapeutic support staff to attend camp with your child if they currently require one at school or home.

“Journey Camp” (This camp is intended for a variety of children ages 6-18 with special needs) Cost - $350 per week

A variety of activities will take place each day such as arts and crafts, sports, outdoor and nature games, music, and animal activities. Camp is designed to promote independence, socialization, recreational skills and confidence. Campers will be broken up into 2 age groups: 6-12 and 13-18 each week of camp. They will then be placed into smaller groups with peers of similar abilities and needs once all registrations have been received. Snacks will be provided, however lunch will NOT. Children are responsible for bringing a lunch with them each day.

"Camp Liberty” (This camp is intended for young adults ages 16-21 & will focus on daily life skills.) Cost - $200 per week

This camp is designed to promote socialization and independence in activities of daily living for high-functioning individuals with special needs. Campers will learn life skills such as practicing good hygiene, laundry tasks and money management, in addition to social skills. Please note, this camp may meet at different locations throughout the community. Transportation will NOT be provided.
