Alison Bender, CTRI, ESMHL
Alison has been with Leg Up Farm since 2019. Her credentials include Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor (CTRI), Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning (ESMHL) through PATH Intl., PATH Mentor, Equine Specialist through EAGALA, Horse Powered Reading Facilitator. Alison provides individualized, trauma-informed equestrian instruction for riders of all ages and abilities, from first-time riders to independent equestrians. Alison enjoys working with a wide variety of clients, including children, teens, adults, and lifelong equestrians. Areas of special interest include helping riders establish a strong, balanced foundation in the saddle, supporting individuals returning to riding after injury or surgery, and creating a safe, supportive, trauma-informed learning environment where each rider can achieve their personal goals. Her goal is to help every rider develop a balanced, effective seat through dressage-based instruction while building confidence, independence, and a positive partnership with the horse.
