New Clients
Clients may be referred to Leg Up Farm for services from various sources, including physicians or other healthcare professionals, hospitals and clinics, teachers, local agencies or family and friends.
Upon referral, Leg Up Farm will prepare a detailed profile, followed by a comprehensive assessment to determine the client’s unique strengths and challenges. Therapy sessions will be scheduled after the recommended Intervention Plan has been discussed and approved by the child’s caregivers.
Leg Up Farm participates with most commercial insurances and the following Medicaid insurances: AmeriHealth Caritas, Geisinger, UPMC For you, and Highmark Wholecare (Gateway).
Equine services are not covered by insurance, but financial aid may be available.
